Coming in 39th as a team out of 264 teams is a great thing. Our 3 young wrestlers all went out on the mat and showed they were there for the long haul. Janiece Alcocer and Cianna Riley proved not to just the crowd but to themselves that they belonged as they battled through some tough opponents and were 1 match away from placing but walked out as top 12 in the state of California. We couldnt be more proud of these 2 young wrestlers! Ciara Boyd also came to showcase her skills and rightfully so. Ciara knew that every match would be a grind but made the adjustments needed to walk out a 2019 State Placer as she placed 7th. All 3 state qualifiers are not only thinking of how this tournament was but they all are underclassmen and will be back next year! The future looks very promising for them and their teammates!

Another CIF in the books. Placing 4th as a team, only out by 12 points, our team showed we are only getting better. We were not the ones to beat but we were one of the teams in contention for the team title. Nevertheless we had a great showing and are only getting better. We qualified 3 for state and now time to get ready.

A great day being a Saint! We qualified 11 wrestlers, the most in our programs history. Freshman Espi Dorantes has upped her level of wrestling and won her weight class and fellow teammates Janiece Alcocer & Ciara Boyd capped the night by also winning their weight classes. Cianna Riley battled her way to the finals and walked away with 2nd place. We also got to see the return of Tiki Jaime fresh off injury and also qualify for CIF Finals. All our wrestlers battled tough and showed why we won league and are ready to battle for the CIF title!
