Our Saints traveled to El Paso, Texas to seek out the Texas toughness. Going there was the first and we all had a blast all while being able to wrestle in the Eastwood Invitational. Going there with 9 wrestlers, 7 of them placed and we walked out with 2nd place as a team. A great way to show how tough San Dimas girls wrestling is!

Lady Saints win their pool and faced a tough Walnut team. Walnut proved to be too much and walked away with the title. Our Lady Saints battle tough and took 2nd place.

Another year of the rivalry continues as Bonita came to our home to try and beat us. The matches were going back and forth and we soon found ourselves down 18-12 and knew we needed to turn the tide. The tide being turned is exactly what transpired as we rolled off 48 unanswered points. Pin after pin with some forfeits came as we ended the night with freshmans Lana Khelghatian and Lei’ani Jaime pinning their opponents. Another year we get to keep the crosstown rivalry trophy!

On December 2 we traveled up to Monache HS in Central California to test ourselves and what a test it was. Coming home with 6 placers and 2nd as a team was a great feeling and we are moving in the right direction. The night was capped off with senior Kaley Rice beating the #1 ranked wrestler in the state with a 5-2 decision. Battled tested and proving themselves, Juliana Marquez placed 3rd, Alani Marrujo 4th place, Lai’ani Jaime 5th place, Izcalia Baldelomar 5th place and Jade Seitz 7th place. A great showing by our Saints, next up our Crosstown Rivalry against Bonita.

November 19, 2022 our lady saints traveled down to Capistrano Valley High for the first tournament of the season. Our girls were tested early but overcame the obstacles as they came home with 2nd place as a team. Individually four of our Saints came home CHAMPIONS! The re-emergence of Jeweliesa Diaz was great to see as she rolled through her opponents and made it clear she is ready for season. Jade Seitz made her tournament debut dawning the Saints logo and she proved to be a force as she dominated her bracket. Returning to her original team, Kaley Rice picked up where she left off and let everyone know shes coming for the title. Last but not least, reigning CIF and Masters champion Juliana Marquez proved too much for her opponents as she ran through her bracket for the title. Next up, Monache tournament.
